Its a scam. They are targeting people pretending to be their boss, asking to buy gift cards.

The recorded message stated that my social security number has been used for fraud and that I will be arrested if I don't respond.

Popped up on phone as scam. Let vm claiming fraudulent activity associated with my SSN and to call them back.

Left phone message-said my microsoft windows was going to be shut down. I contacted Microsoft...shame these criminals don't do something useful with their knowledge.

I received a recorded call last night from "Microsoft Windows Tech Support" that someone attempted to hack into my computer. Because it wasn't a human trying to gain access to my computer right then, I wasn't sure, so I looked up the phone number. Glad I did! It's a scam. Fortunately, I did not call them back. Hate these people!

Same issue: someone has gotten access to my computer and will steal all my private data. Prior to this it was the IRS claiming they were coming to get me. Buttheads.
