This phone number is valid for Chase Credit card services.

Not so sure it's a scam. I took my check to a local Chase branch and they cashed it for me. If it is a scam, it scammed them too.

Received letter with a check from JpMorgan chase. Do not cash this check or call the number on the letter, it is a scam to get your personal information. The routing number on the check is not a JPMorgan Chase routing number.

Received a 2-page letter from "JPMorgan Chase" that included last 4 digits of an "old" account I do not recognize and does not show up on my credit report. Letter includes the phone number in question, and a check explained as an "overdue refund" on this "old" account. Check carries "authorized" signature from "Claire Dawson". Called Chase (NOT using the number on the check) -- they are not able to verify that this letter is legit. Called the number on the letter, they asked for my social, I hung up.

I received two legitamate looking letters from JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A stating my acct. ending in **** to be determined this acct. was due a refund. 2nd page had a official looking check for the refund. I received two different letters with two different Chase accts. with two different refund checks.

I had a procedure done at Doctor's Hospital in Glen Allen, VA. Bills had been paid. Then I received on two different occassions a very authentic looking bill from the Hospital. The bill was fraudulent. Now I've received a call from 800-223-9899 saying they are from Doctor's Hospital billing department. I'm sure it's the same scam but on phone this time.
