They called me eight times in a matter of minutes because I didn't answer. I answered once and they said they were from American Express and they wanted to verify some charges. I finally hung up on them and they then called me at a local number 651-329-9599. I called American Express to just verify that it wasn't them calling. These calls are so irritating!!!!!

I received 2 letters that theres a security concern about my card. I dont have an American Express Card. Then I got 2 calls in a row. They wanted to extract information from me and referenced the letters. They supposedly will place a fraud alert on a card that I dont have.

Been told I opened a credit card and purchased couple machine guns. I said I don't speak English and I am going to recording the conversation.

The other comments are very interesting to me. I was actually on a call that I originated with American Express, when this number called 4 times in a row. They didn't leave a message.

Received text that my Amex account requires attention. Did not respond. My account has a 0 balance,

Received a recorded call on Dec. 11th from this number stating they were from American Express on a recorded line. They asked for me and to press 1 if it was me. the call sounded like a recording. They said I was past due on a payment and I immediately hung up and went to look at my AE statement and that said my payment was due Dec. 21 so I knew this was a scam call. I will mess with them next time they try to call me.
