said he was with Fraud protection at Wells fargo. said transactions had be been made using my phone. Gave me some numbers for the transactions --said to be with chase. I hung up and did a reverse search and got right here. It did not sound legit--heavy accent.

It says Fraud Alert when called back.

Multiple calls from this number, claiming to be Wells Fargo Bank fraud dept and that my acct has been compromised. Asking for verifying code to get into account to order new card. Beware, this is a fraudster!

Received a text from this saying it was Wells Fargo about a charge on my acct .

Texted me saying that I need to verify my purchase activity

The caller said he was from the Wells Fargo office and he was checking on a purchase that I might NOT have made. I told him I didn't have an account there. He still insisted and wanted me to answer questions. I told him that I would call the Wells Fargo office to check. Then I just hung up.

They say they're from apple or another company. Nothing but scammers.

Received telephone call at 6:38p from this number. Gentleman stated his name was Steven Milard with Agent #0718DS. Alleged that debit card was compromised and purchases from Rainbow and Ramp (whatever they are) were attempted. He then confirmed the last 4 digits of my card #, last 4 digits of my SSN and mailing address, which he read to me. He then said he was going to cancel this debit card and set up an appointment for me to go into the nearest bank branch and pick up a new card, which my bank doesn't do. He almost had me until he asked me to confirm my PIN. I immediately reported it to the bank by calling the number on the back of my card

I was called several times from this number this morning about my mortgage. He said his name was Danielle and they are the deed holder for my mortgage account, which I know hes lying because my mortgage is with Rural Development.

This unsolicited call was not answered. No message was left.

Fake wellsfargo number. Scam to commit fraud

this number contacted via my cell phone and it came up as Wells Fargo Bank, they stated that they were the Wells Fargo Bank Fraud division, they had a bad accent and I could not understand all they were trying to tell me concerning my account. I ask for another to assist me due to I could not understand. Another agent came on the line with not better command, however I proceed to communicate with them. They told me that my account just had a fraudulent activity of $4,000.00 from all places Thailand. They proceed by instructing me to download a certain App from my phone, it all seemed strange, but the number came up as Wells Fargo Bank, so I listened to them. after the instruction to download the app, they stated that I would be connected to the fraud agent (they first said they were the fraud agent. All seemed funny, So I requested a call back number, informing them that I was going to my bank next door to confirm the fraud on my account. once that was said, they hung up the line. I still did go to the Bank to assure that no fraudulent activity was happening. the bank stated that hey would never ask you to download an app for any fraudulent activity. problem averted.

Kept texting me saying it was important. Called and they asked for a credit card number. Clearly they want to steal money.

This is the phone number for Wells Fargo fraud reporting. You can find it in the report fraud section of your online bank account. They texted me about a fraud issue Ive been having and asked for no info. Perhaps scammers are copying this number. My text was legit.
