Claimed to be from Microsoft, I bit, cost 250, now cannot reach them for help. Is this a scam?

This Indian speaking person names Chris, who say's he was from Windows and my computer was giving out warnings. He walked me though some checks and told me my computer had been hacked. When I realized he was heading for gaining access to my computer I confronted him and told him I was not going to download anything from someone out of the blue who claims he's from Windows and Not Microsoft (who owns Windows) He toild me to call back on an 855 number and verify how he was. Well DUH, a reverse directory search told me it was a telemarketer number. SCAM SCAM SCAM.

I have the same complaint as the previous person, I told them that I will call them back and to give me whatever info they had for my computer, they gave me the same phone # with extension 104 or 1004 Harry

I WAS CALLED BY SOMEONE AT 212-415-7895. They said they were with Microsoft and my computer was giving out warnings. When I told them I needed to Call Back because my battery was low, they gave me 855-539-4928 extension 117 Richard
