The call came on my landline moments after I added money to my Apple account with my debit card. While I was trying to find the provenance of the call it rang my cellphone. It was indeed, Embold fraud prevention services. Confirmed after I called the credit union to confirm the phone number wasnt a dodgy one.

I m 80 years old, and I have know idea who this number belongs to

They called me trying to get my credit card information, stated they needed information about my recent debit card transaction. Luckily my son hung up and I checked my accounts, no bad transactions or anything.

They keep calling the wrong number asking fir the same person..

Why don't debt collectors believe you when you tell them the person they want is not at the number they are calling? Do they actually believe crooks give their true phone numbers? That is what I don't get about these collectors. I have been getting calls for some idiot who used my number and I keep trying to tell them the person does not live there.

Received a call claiming Bank of America wanted to give them a call and use my phone number as a reference. most likely a scam.

Calls two to three times a day. Answer no response. Really a pain.
