Ogilvy leads Spieth by two going into final round in Sydney
Yahoo News - 3 months
By Nick Mulvenney SYDNEY (Reuters) - Geoff Ogilvy stormed to the top of the Australian Open leaderboard with a stunning eight-under-par 64 on Saturday to take a two-shot lead over Jordan Spieth and two others going into the final round. World number five Spieth came through a wobbly start at Royal Sydney to shoot a 68 for a share of second place with Aaron Baddeley (67) and New Zealander Ryan Fox (71). Adam Scott would have had a share of fifth with Rod Pampling (70) a further shot back had he not missed a birdie putt from two feet at the last, but the former world number one will still fancy his chances of making up four shots on Sunday.

Nitties rides Sydney wind as Scott charges, Spieth falters
Yahoo News - 3 months
By Nick Mulvenney SYDNEY (Reuters) - Local James Nitties hit a sparkling seven-under-par 65 to take a one-shot lead at the midway point of the Australian Open on Friday after Jordan Spieth charged but faltered and Adam Scott moved into contention at Royal Sydney. Nitties eagled the par-five second, his 11th hole, and rode the gathering wind with five more birdies on the way home to storm to the top of the leaderboard at nine-under, a shot ahead of New Zealander Ryan Fox. World number seven Scott also blitzed the back nine for a 65 and a share of fourth place on six-under, with American Spieth a further shot back in a share of ninth after a double bogey at the 15th left him with a 70.

Thomas grabs share of lead to open CIMB Classic defense
Yahoo News - 4 months
Justin Thomas enjoyed a welcome return to Kuala Lumpur on Thursday when the American kicked off the defense of his CIMB Classic title by surging into a share of the lead at the $7 million co-sanctioned event. Thomas, who claimed his one and only PGA Tour title at the TPC Kuala Lumpur course last year when he edged out Adam Scott by a stroke, tallied nine birdies and a lone bogey in his first round this time to sign for an eight-under-par 64. If there's any such thing as an easy eight under, that was it," Thomas said in a post-round interview.

Watch James Corden, Meg Ryan and Adam Scott Turn Beyoncé Lyrics Into a Soap Opera
Yahoo News - 6 months
Monday's Late Late Show brought back the "pop lyrics as soap opera" format and borrowed the Queen's words. James Corden, Meg Ryan and Adam Scott acted out a scene in which Corden catches Ryan cheating on him with Leslie Knope's husband. The plot is moved along through dialogue, like "hold up, they don't love you like I love you," "I don't think you're ready for this jelly," and "uh oh, uh oh, uh oh, no no no." So in this scenario, James Corden is Beyoncé, Meg Ryan is Jay Z and Adam Scott is Rachel Roy. This feels a little bit like Corden gloating about beating Beyoncé at the Creative Arts Emmys ( The Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke Prime Time Special beat Lemonade for Outstanding Variety Special). Watch out, James! You don't want to invoke the wrath of the Beyhive! (Full disclosure: TVGuide.com is owned by CBS.)

How 'Parks And Rec' Embraced Diversity And Shattered Stereotypes
Huffington Post - 6 months
I miss 'Parks and Rec', I really do. It was one of the best shows on television -- fresh, funny, heart-warming, relatable and riveting. It strayed from its 'Office' co-relation in a big way because of one thing: the people in the 'Parks and Rec' office liked each other. They supported, loved and rooted for each other. They even stopped their whole lives and put a pause on their daily tasks just to help their best friend and boss, Leslie Knope, (played by the crazy talented Amy Poehler) run a campaign when her hired team quit on her. These co-workers were her very best friends, and she was theirs. What a Hufflepuff show if there ever was one. 'Parks and Rec' had Amy Poehler's golden touch all over it. It was smart and hilarious without ever going in the dirt for jokes. It had a diverse and vibrant cast that brought the plot to the next level and gave it a life of its own. Each actor's character was their own actual personality, and that's what gave each episode script its strength ...

Jordan Spieth, who vacated the world number one spot for Day recently, weighed in on Twitter, complimenting his fellow competitor. "Well, that's Tiger-esque, that kind of a run," former world number one Scott said of 28-year-old Day.
