Oak Forest High School Athletic Director Sue Bonner announced today that Oak Forest High School senior scholar athlete Alex Hansen has been awarded the NIAAA Scholar Essay Award. Hansen will receive a plaque and $250 check at the state athletic director’s convention in Peoria on May 6.  Hansen is a four year football and track & field athlete and is ranked 5th out of 342 students in the senior class.
