Good audience for Broncos-Ravens opener; NFL media updates for 2013 season

NBC’s broadcast of the Peyton Manning show Thursday night from Denver drew 25.1 million viewers for the NFL season opener. That’s up from 23.9 million for Cowboys-Giants a year ago and the third-best total for the Thursday NFL openers, which date back to 2002.
The broadcast, which was delayed by weather for more than a half-hour, drew a 14.9 Nielsen rating and 26 share, which matches the time-shifted rating on KPRC (Channel 2).
