'That Other Pregame Show' is actually off to a decent start
Awful Announcing - over 3 years
CBS Sports Network entered the Sunday NFL pregame fray with not a one-hour or two-hour show, but an elongated four-hour edition called "That Other Pregame Show." And while the title certainly isn't original, through two weeks "That Other Pregame Show" has given fans a nice alternative to the yukfests on the other networks. With Adam Schein hosting; rookie analysts Amy Trask and Bart Scott; Brandon Tierney, a CBS Sports Radio morning personality (no synergy there); and Allie LaForce from CBS Sports Network's Lead Off (even more synergy!), "That Other Pregame Show" provides football, and nothing but football. Houston Chronicle - over 3 years

The broadcast, which was delayed by weather for more than a half-hour, drew a 14.9 Nielsen rating and 26 share, which matches the time-shifted rating on KPRC (Channel 2). With that, let’s take a look at assorted network lineups for the NFL season: CBS – In addition to the long-running “The NFL Today,” CBS goes full-bore into Sunday morning rhetoric on CBS Sports Network with “That Other Pregame Show,” which airs from 8 a.m. to noon. Not sure I’m crazy about the title (why slight your own product?), but there is much that escapes me about marketing strategy. Adam Schein will host with retired linebacker Bart Scott, former Raiders executive Amy Trask, Brandon Tierney of CBS Sports Radio, Allie LaForce and fantasy sports rep ...
