The Vampire Diaries Takes Us Back to 1942 With New Promo Images
Boom Tron - over 4 years
It’s time for one of my favorite pass times: staring at promotional images for an upcoming episode of The Vampire Diaries and seeing what craziness I can surmise from my viewings. We have here with us today images for the Dec. 6 episode, “We’ll Always Have Bourbon Street,” which will be a new entry in Vampire Diaries’ always enjoyable flashback episodes. This time we’re going back in time to New Orleans circa 1942 where the Salvatore Brothers, Damon and Stefan, are bumming around in army uniforms and chatting up some ladies. Check out the images below when you have a chance and join me on a journey of discovery! As I mentioned, Damon and Stefan are kicking it in the army this time around. Why? Yikes, it could be for any number of reasons, but it would have to be something relevant. You see, Elena will find herself in some kind of troubling situation that causes the brothers to head to New Orleans to remember something that happened in the past that might be able to help Elena tod ...

Hawaii 5 Five-0 Season 3: Arielle Kebbel’s Fortune Isn’t Looking Good
Boom Tron - over 4 years
Not much can be said when the equally adorable and sexy Arielle Kebbel is added to the guest cast of a television show other than “Aw yeah!” I kid you not, that is exactly what I said when I learned Kebbel had been given a guest starring role in Season 3 of CBS’ Hawaii Five-0. A couple hours later and I’m still just giggly over the idea of her walking around Hawaii in short shorts and a bikini top – assuming of course she is allowed to dress that way for her part. Given the nature of the character she’s playing, the likelihood of a sexy costume isn’t very.  She’ll be too busy linking arms with her boyfriend played by Robbie Amell. According to TVLine, Kebbel and Amell play a couple in the fourth episode of the upcoming season, but other than knowing that the two enter a fortune-teller’s lair and experience “devastating consequences,” we know very little about their part in the show. One can only assume they will trigger the response of the Five-0 Task Force after getting their fort ...

Film School Rejects - almost 5 years
What’s always most exciting about film festivals is the range of different films available for watching and enjoying – all within the same period of time, and often in the same venues. Our first round of Tribeca reviews only highlights that variety of films, as it include a French actioner, an true American independent, and a dramedy about ladies of the night. After the break, check out mini reviews for Sleepless Night, Supporting Characters, and Elles – all very different Tribeca Film Festival films, and all films likely to find their own unique audiences in the Big Apple and beyond. MOVIE REVIEW | 'VAMPIRES SUCK'; New Girl Enters Stale Dating Pool
NYTimes - over 6 years
It is never pretty to see the movie industry devour its young, but ''Vampires Suck,'' a limp lampoon of the ''Twilight'' series, seems especially redundant. Aside from the difficulty of spoofing a saga that has always been winkingly aware of its own angsty excesses, there is the inadvisability of angering a tweeniverse whose emotional investment in
