Celebrity Babies - People - about 3 years
DeAnna Pappas Stagliano is basking in all the sugar, spice and everything nice that comes along with a baby girl! The former Bachelorette, who is expecting her first child with husband Stephen in early February, celebrated her baby shower with family and friends on Sunday with a pink-themed soiree hosted by Good Carma Studio. “The shower was amazing! It was so beautiful and such a welcoming party for our little girl,” Stagliano, 32, tells PEOPLE. For the baby bash, Pappas Stagliano was determined to show off her budding baby belly — and accomplished just that in a beautiful royal blue dress from A Pea in the Pod. “It is maternity, but I didn’t feel like a big ol’ pregnant woman in it! I felt beautiful and like a proud mom-to-be in this dress,” she says. “I have only gained 26 pounds so far so I wanted a dress that accentuated my bump, but also still made me feel normal.” DustyLu Photography In between noshing on sweet treats from a colorful candy station and decadent cu ...

EPA in Wonderland
National Review Online - over 4 years
Why does America’s economy feel like an SUV that is running on fumes? The Obama administration’s laughably rigid enforcement of a Baby Bush–era ethanol mandate typifies today’s regulatory climate. When Uncle Sam governs with a tire iron in his hand, U.S. companies wisely pull off the road and pray for new management. The Environmental Protection Agency has slapped a $6.8 million penalty on oil refiners for not blending cellulosic ethanol into gasoline, jet fuel, and other products. These dastardly petroleum-mongers are being so intransigent because cellulosic ethanol does not exist. It remains a fantasy fuel. EPA might as well mandate that Exxon hire leprechauns.
