Since being formed last year they have uncovered many interesting finds but club member Brent Scriven said the most rewarding have involved reuniting people with lost jewellery and sentimental items. “A lady pulled up while we were out in Selby and said she had lost her mum’s ring in her garden two years ago. “She said the family had been on their hands and knees trying to find it and asked could we help,” he said. “Her back garden turned out to be huge with horses in it.
