Singer Celine Dion and her husband, manager Rene Angelil, have listed their private island home in Quebec, Canada for $29.7 million Canadian dollars. The spectacular French Normandy-style chateau boasts 24,000 square feet of living space, as well as six bedrooms and six bathrooms. The home also has three living rooms, a wood-paneled library and double master suites. The lower level features a game room and wine cellar with a tasting room. Bedrooms include completely separate his and hers suites, each with sumptuous ensuite bathrooms, spacious walk-in closets, Juliette balconies and oversized doors and windows overlooking the water. Included in the price are Dion's Persian rugs, linens, china, flatware, art, and a massive collection of antique furniture she's leaving behind. There's also an outdoor swimming pool and pool house with a fully fitted kitchen. Just under 20 acres, the gated island includes a private bridge and a security station and is roughly 15 minutes from downtown Montreal. Quebec native Dion is selling the property as she and Angelil are spending more time in the U.S. and want to purchase a smaller home in Canada for visits, according to listing broker Joseph Montanaro, of Sotheby's International Realty in Quebec.
