Andrea Casiraghi's Bride Gets Married In Missoni
Huffington Post - over 3 years
Oh, how we love the sweet sound of royal wedding bells in the distance! This time around, the lucky groom was Andrea Casiraghi, who tied the knot with Colombian heiress Tatiana Santo Domingo on Saturday. The couple, who welcomed their first child back in March, said "I do" at a private ceremony in Monaco. While official photos of the big event are scarce, Hello magazine reports that the bride wore a Missoni dress and the mother of the groom Princess Caroline wore a red dress thought to be designed by Karl Lagerfeld. Charlotte Casiraghi wore a blue gown "which highlighted her growing baby bump" and Princess Charlene dressed in an "all-white ensemble." (How Pippa Middleton of her!) Among a reported 400-person guest list were the Missoni family, Tatiana's aunt, Lauren Santo Domingo, Greek shipping heiress Eugenie Niarchos and the aforementioned royals. We're still convinced our invite must have gotten lost in the mail. While we await more details of the hush-hush affa ...

Charlotte Casiraghi Engaged, Expecting Child With Gad Elmaleh: REPORT
Huffington Post - over 3 years
They must be all smiles in the palace in Monaco. Just a day after Andrea Casiraghi and Tatiana Santo Domingo confirmed their late summer wedding date, Charlotte Casiraghi reportedly has her own good news to share: She's engaged and pregnant, writes People. Charlotte and her boyfriend, Gad Elmaleh, are reportedly expecting their first child. The Monegasque noble, daughter of Princess Caroline, granddaughter of Grace Kelly and fourth in line to the throne, started dating French actor Elmaleh in 2012 after her split from Alex Dellal. Casiraghi, 27, and Elmaleh, 42, looked cozy and cute at the Bal De La Rose Du Rocher ball this past March. Then in July, Casiraghi sparked pregnancy rumors that were further stoked when she was seen shopping for baby clothes with Elmaleh in the past week. Which could mean we've got another Monaco heir and another "royal" wedding on our hands this year! Charlotte's brother, Andrea, will marry his fiance in late August, giving Charlotte plenty ...

PHOTOS: Monaco's Princely Family Has Pretty Good Genes
Huffington Post - over 3 years
Monaco may be a mountainous principality, but it looks like apples don't fall from trees. Princess Caroline of Hanover and daughter Charlotte Casiraghi attended the Longines Global Champions Tour on Friday, and their resemblance was uncanny. Aside from a love of equestrian activities, 26-year-old Charlotte seems to have inherited her mother's chiseled cheekbones, strong chin and soft pout. The similar haircuts don't hurt, either. Already a style world figure, Charlotte serves as the face of Gucci and makes the fashion week rounds just like Mom. Even though we're sure much of this came to Charlotte naturally, we bet Caroline gave her advice on how to stun on a Vogue cover (see the result here). Don't they look more alike each day? PHOTOS: Princess Charlene Goes Biker For 'Bal De La Rose Du Rocher'
Huffington Post - about 4 years
Monaco's finest gathered in Monte-Carlo last night to celebrate the Princess Grace Foundation's annual Rose Ball (aka Bal De La Rose Du Rocher). Of course, our eyes first targeted the lovely Princess Charlene, looking absolutely stunning in a silk white gown with silver armor-like detailing. Even though Char stuck to her usual monochromatic color palette, she definitely amped things up with a white leather biker jacket and a silver smokey eye. Her Serene Highness was joined by Prince Albert II, Princess Caroline of Hanover, Charlotte Casiraghi and Pierre Casiraghi. Caroline's son Andrea was absent, but he had good reason: His wife Tatiana Santo Domingo just gave birth to a baby boy named Sacha! The annual charity ball is definitely one of Monaco's top evenings for the style set. This year, Karl Lagerfeld himself directed the event themed "Belle et Pop," an homage to music spanning from France's Golden Age to contemporary hip hop. The noble attendees took in performanc ...

PHOTOS: Young Monaco Royal Wears Native American Costume
Huffington Post - over 4 years
Monaco royal Charlotte Casiraghi might be due for a stern phone call from the palace soon. The granddaughter of Grace Kelly and Gucci model, who's also an accomplished equestrian, competed in the Gucci Masters horse show in Villepinte, France, over the weekend -- but from the reactions to one of her dressage costumes, the only thing she might have mastered was pulling a major mistake. While other equestrians sported donkey, angel and Flintstones costumes for the competition's Style portion, 26-year-old Casiraghi and her horse went for a "cowboys and Indians theme," with the athlete wearing face paint, a helmet accessorized with feathers to resemble a headdress and a beige outfit laced with fringe. Even her horse had face paint on and a few feathers tucked onto his brow. Casiraghi's fellow rider, Edwina Tops-Alexander, was dressed as a cowboy to complete the theme, but it was the young royal who drew backlash online over her look. One Tumblr user scorned, "Let’s si ...

Hat-trick: Kate is on Vanity Fair’s best dressed list again!
The Express Tribune Blogs - over 4 years
LONDON:  British royals Kate Middleton and Prince Harry led Vanity Fair’s international best dressed list on Tuesday, following a year in which all eyes have been on Britain’s young members of the monarchy. The newlywed Duchess of Cambridge, 30, whose husband is Harry’s brother Prince William, will grace the September cover of the magazine’s newsstand editions after a year of setting style trends and wowing fashionistas with her mix of designer and high street wardrobe choices in her first year of official duties. The magazine said Prince Charles spent an estimated $55,000 on designer clothes for his new daughter-in-law but that Middleton declined the services of a royal dresser. Instead, she selected her own wardrobe from designers such as Alice Temperley and Alexander McQueen, as well as stores like Topshop and TK Maxx. With Prince William off the list, fashion watchers wondered if his father should offer to hire him a stylist. Prince Harry ...

More Details Hide Details Casiraghi revealed that her collaborators with the Loro Piana-funded project are the socialite Alexia Niedzielski and advertising executive Elizabeth von Guttman. She also revealed that the environmentally conscious designer Stella McCartney, as well as her own uncle Prince Albert II, greatly enlightened and influenced her. I haven’t been as conscious as I should have been.” The debut issue of Ever Manifesto was distributed free at the 10 Corso Como boutique during Milan Fashion Week and again at Colette in Paris during Paris Fashion Week. Casiraghi explained that the magazine will not have a predetermined publication schedule. "We want to publish when we have something to say or people to support," she said.
