The most dangerous celebrities to look up on Google
Yahoo News - 5 months
One of the more common ways that purveyors of malware are able to trick unsuspecting users into downloading malicious software is to prey upon the public’s insatiable appetite for celebrity news, photos and gossip. As a result, some celebrity-oriented search queries tend to be associated with a greater likelihood of downloading malware than others. As Intel notes , malicious actors are quick to put up websites “loaded with malware that can steal passwords and personal information,” especially in the days preceding new movie and music releases and in the days following a major celebrity breakup a’la the recent divorce news involving Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. DON'T MISS: An Apple employee just leaked details about the iPhone 8 Earlier today, Intel published its list of the “most dangerous celebrities” to search for, and checking in at the top of the list is comedian Amy Schumer. You Missed A Sinister 'Breaking Bad' Callback On 'Better Call Saul'
Huffington Post - about 1 year
You couldn't have had a better callback, "Saul." Season 2 of the "Breaking Bad" spinoff "Better Call Saul," which premiered Monday night, has Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) showing flashes of his future alter ego, Saul Goodman. After initially rejecting a cushy job at the law firm Davis & Maine, Odenkirk's character enlists Kim (Rhea Seehorn) to help him run a scam on a stock trader, tricking him into buying them expensive shots of tequila. The scam brings the pair closer together, but eventually they abandon the rotten streak and McGill decides to take the law firm job. Sorry, no Saul Goodman after all. (He does flip a switch that says "Do not turn off," though. Yeah, pretty badass.) Still, while McGill was "breaking bad," there was a sneaky callback to the original show that you might've missed. First, take a look at that stock trader that got scammed. Recognize him from anywhere? That's Ken, the same guy who stole Walter White's parking space in "Breaking Bad." It' ...

Best of the Year: The Best and Worst Networks of 2015
Yahoo News - about 1 year
There were so many different companies producing TV in 2015 that "network" or "channel" are barely correct descriptors. But no matter if we're talking a century-old broadcaster, an upstart, niché channel, or an online-shopping retailer turned content producer, this year brought us so much TV that there are some pretty clear winners and losers among those making this stuff. That's what I'm hear to discuss. Before we jump into it, let me say that this isn't just about ratings—of the overnight, DVR, or social media variety. If you want to know what networks had the most successful 2015 based on Nielsen's wizardry, there are other places to go for that. Instead, this list celebrates good shows, surprising developments, and smart decisions (and all the opposite of all that, too). 2015 WAS GOOD TO THESE NETWORKS THE CW From internet punching bag to internet favorite. The CW built up a head of steam at the end of 2014 with the debuts of Jane the Virgin and The Flash , but this year has been a ...

Name that tune! Mocking U.S. Republicans, #GOPSongs goes viral on Twitter
Yahoo News - about 1 year
By Angela Moon and Melissa Fares NEW YORK (Reuters) - From "Hey Rude," a play on The Beatles classic devoted to Donald Trump, to "You Gotta Fight Far to the Right," a dig at the presidential nomination process inspired by the Beastie Boys' "You Gotta Fight For Your Right," Twitter lit up on Tuesday with playful twists on pop songs targeted at Republicans. The hashtag #GOPSongs was a top trender on Twitter, with thousands tweaking famous song titles and lyrics as the hours counted down to the fifth Republican presidential TV debate, set for Tuesday night in Las Vegas. The trend kicked off late Monday when Comedy Central's late night show "@midnight", hosted by Chris Hardwick, tweeted: "It's time to loosen your red tie and play #GOPSongs with us! The Walking Dead: Mid-Season 6 Finale is High Caliber!
Huffington Post - about 1 year
Season 6 episode 8 titled, "Start to Finish," delivers on all facets and then some. Solid acting supported by a superb story with impressive visuals. All creating those memorable moments. The opening scene begins peaceful with a slow zoom shot of upstairs within a beautifully kept home. Then a young boy, Sam, leaves an empty plate outside his room and goes back inside, while the song "Tiptoe through the Tulips," is playing from his room. Though the scene begins peacefully enough, there's also a disquieting air similar to a quiet scene from the Stanley Kubrick film The Shining. Then Sam is seen again, drawing a crayon picture of a man tied to a tree with walkers close by. Perhaps the drawing came as he remembered Carol's past scare tactic, after he followed her to the armory during Deanna's house party in season 5. And while he draws, there's a trail of ants coming from the window sill, to swarming all over a half-eaten cookie on a plate on his bedroom floor. Then outside, the watchto ...
