The film stars Wil Wheaton, Feldman, Jerry O'Connell, and the late River Phoenix, and in addition to being a formative experience for us both many years ago, it also ended up sparking a fascinating discussion right now about friendship, parenting, and the passage of time. There's lots of insights and lots of laughs to be had as we close out the year, and you can listen to it at the embed below, or subscribe at iTunes, Stitcher Radio, TuneIn Radio, or Google Play (and remember to leave a review!). The pharmaceutical executive who wanted to make HIV patients pay through the nose for medication is now willing to get punched in the nose for charity. Martin Shkreli, aka Pharma Bro, said he is currently auctioning off the chance to punch him in the face to raise money for the family of Mike Kulich, his former PR consultant who died in his sleep on Saturday morning. Watch Corey Feldman Totally 'Go 4 It' In Impassioned TV Performance
Huffington Post - 5 months
“Where were you when you saw Corey Feldman dab on the ‘Today’ show?” Hopefully this is a question your grandchildren will get to ask you one day, still mystified by the moment that changed live performances forever — or, at the very least, marked the end of dubstep.  Feldman graced NBC’s “Today” stage Friday, Sept. 16, to perform his single “Go 4 It,” featuring Snoop Dogg. Those with him included Corey’s Angels (female band members clad in Party-City-esque costumes with halos and wings), Doc Ice from the 80’s hip-hop group UTFO, and a hooded (yet happy as hell) Corey Feldman. Corey was promoting his album “Angelic 2 The Core,” an album the “Today” host emphasized was “10 years in the making.”  Before performing, the screen flashed to his album art, which consists of two angels lifting Feldman out of a fiery Earth — what is presumably hell.  “The whole theme of the album is good versus evil, heaven versus hell,” Feldman said. “If you look actually ...

The Goonies Town Is A Real Place, And It's Totally Charming
Huffington Post - almost 2 years
"Hey you guys!" The town from everyone's favorite '80s movie "The Goonies" is actually a real place. Not only that, but it's also quite charming. Much of the cult classic was filmed in Astoria, Oregon, and some of the most iconic scenes take place on Cannon Beach. Maybe you knew this already or maybe you didn't; either way, it's never a bad time to relive some serious movie magic and make a trip of it. Astoria is a small, alluringly gloomy town of not even 10,000 people. Despite its size, Astoria has seen its fair share of industry (it's the oldest American settlement west of the Rockies, after all). Founded as a fur-trading post, it subsequently became the center of the country's commercial salmon industry and home to the Bumble Bee tuna factory. The Bumble Bee factory closed down in the 1980s, however, forcing Astoria to reinvent itself yet again. Today, Astoria's main industry is tourism, Micah Dugan of The Oregon Film Museum told the BBC. With the impending "Goonies" sequel, ...

Corey Feldman's Mom Responds To Book Claims: 'Most Of It's Not True'
Huffington Post - over 3 years
Former child star Corey Feldman makes plenty of horrifying claims about his childhood in his new memoir, "Coreyography," and now his mother, Sheila Kenner, is hitting back and coming forward to say "most" of what's been written about her is "not true." In his book, Feldman claims his mother was a drug addict and was emotionally and physically abusive, writing that she bleached his hair blond at the age of four, tortured him about his weight, and eventually force-fed him diet pills. Another time, Feldman alleges that after he was fired from a TV movie, his mother attacked him with a long wooden dowel that was used as a window stop until his skin was "raw and bleeding," while screaming at him: "How could you f--king do this to me? You know I need this f--king money. I will kill you. I will f--king kill you, you worthless piece of sh-t.” The allegations don't come as a complete shock to Feldman's mother, who now says she's had enough, and is speaking out about her son's book for t ...
