Craigery Michael "Craig" Owens is an American musician from Davison, Michigan. He is best known as the former lead vocalist of Chiodos and has had an involvement in various side projects such as Cinematic Sunrise, and the supergroup Isles & Glaciers. He was part of The Sound of Animals Fighting and was given an offer to reprise his role in their third album, The Ocean and the Sun, but declined due to a full schedule.

It always makes me laugh when Whovians debate whether someone counts as a true companion or not, as if there’s a badge of service you get, after more than three trips in the TARDIS. Alongside Owens in the band are Nick Martin (Underminded, Cinematic Sunrise, Isles & Glaciers), Matt Good (From First to Last), Aaron Stern (Matchbook Romance) and Adam Russell (Story of the Year).
    More Details Hide Details The self-titled album, D.R.U.G.S. was released February 22, 2011, hitting #1 on Billboard's U.S. Hard Rock list. Via Twitter, Owens stated that the band booked the Rise From The Ashes tour (with Eyes Set to Kill and New Medicine as opening acts). The band played on the Alternative Press Tour Spring 2011 co-headlining with the band Black Veil Brides and openers being I See Stars, VersaEmerge, and Conditions. Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows performed at the 2011 Vans Warped Tour in its entirety, with the exception of July 17th, 19th, and 20th. On July 12, 2011, D.R.U.G.S. released a live EP titled "Live From Hot Topic", which includes 5 live songs: "The Only Thing You Talk About", "My Swagger has a First Name", "Mr. Owl Ate My Metal Worm", "Graveyard Dancing" and "If You Think This Song is About You, It Probably Is".

    Florida post-hardcore band, Broadway featured Owens and Jonny Craig as guest vocalists on their debut album Kingdoms, which was released July 7, 2009. Owens was also featured in the song "The Road to Hell Is Paved With Good Intentions" for the band In Fear and Faith. Isles & Glaciers made their first live debut at the 2009 SXSW showcase show in Austin, Texas, which was presented by Alternative Press. At the show, the band announced that they have finished recording their debut EP and that it was to be released sometime in the summer of 2009.

    Owens announced the name of his new solo EP via Twitter, "Με την αγάπη" which is Greek for "with love" and is pronounced "me tin agapi" in English. On July 21, 2009 Craig Owens announced on Twitter that the album would be released in September.

    On December 15, 2008, a new side project was revealed to be called Isles & Glaciers that included Owens, Jonny Craig (Dance Gavin Dance, Emarosa) providing vocals, Vic Fuentes (Pierce the Veil) on guitar and backing vocals, Nick Martin (Underminded, Cinematic Sunrise) on guitar and backing vocals, Matt Goddard (Chiodos) on bass, Brian Southall (The Receiving End of Sirens) on programming/guitar, and Mike Fuentes (Pierce the Veil) on drums/percussion.

    On July 20, 2008, Owens attempted to overdose on prescription Xanax in his Michigan home.

Owens also stated afterward that he had not suffered any permanent physical damage from the incident and that he couldn't wait to embark on his next tour with Chiodos.
