However, her character was absent from the 2009 British film Nowhere Boy, which purported to cover the story of Lennon from 1955 to 1960 but focused on his relationships with his aunt and mother.

Her life had a more central role in the 2010 BBC Four film Lennon Naked, with Claudie Blakley playing the part.
