Our Dream 'Hey Arnold!' Cast In Real Life
Huffington Post - over 3 years
Nickelodeon nostalgia, anyone? From 1996 to 2004, kids got their kicks from Craig Bartlett's cartoon "Hey Arnold!" The show focused on the quietly cool fourth grader Arnold, his grandparents' city dwellings and Arnold's kooky classmates. "Hey Arnold!" covered a laundry list of adolescent issues -- relentless bullies, lovestruck crushes and a grueling search for adoptive parents. These relatable storylines struck a chord with audiences and cemented the show's cult status so much that a feature film, "Hey Arnold! The Movie," was released in June 2002. Sure, 20-somethings can catch their favorite football head as part of "The '90s Are All That" TeenNick lineup. But what if we took the show's influence a step further? In the spirit of a fellow forever missed "funnie" Nicktoon, we dreamed up the ultimate Hollywood cast to portray the P.S. 118 gang. 1. Arnold: Disney Channel veteran Sterling Knight is our pick for Arnold. Thanks to his roles in "Sonny With a Chance" and "17 Agai ...

'Splash': Another Injury Forces Last-Minute Change
Huffington Post - almost 4 years
It was all about togetherness on the latest episode of ABC's "Splash." The celebrity divers were paired with champion divers to perform synchronized dives. It's hard enough to master these dives in the short time they have to train, much less to do it in synch with a pro. To make it even more challenging -- and fun -- their partners are all children. The children proved quite the inspiration for the celebrities as well, as most everyone really improved their game from last week. Even more impressive, not only did they improve the quality of their dives, but they synchronization with the kids was pretty impressive as well. But a nagging injury left Rory Bushfield training his partner a bit instead of the other way around. During practice, he hit the water on the ear he'd already injured earlier. Because of that, they had to try a different dive for the competition -- one that would allow Rory to land on his feet instead of his head. It was enough to save Rory this week. A ...
