Longtime Garwood Resident Mary Constance Batich Dies at 87

Mary Constance Snyder Batich, 87, a long time resident of Garwood, a loving and devoted mother of four and grandmother of eight died April 25, 2012 after a difficult battle with renal cell carcinoma. She is deeply missed by her family but has left them with memories of many happy moments with a woman who lived life to its fullest. She worked hard, had a great sense of humor and was generous to a fault.
Family and friends are invited to the Visitation, Friday, April 27 from 2pm - 4pm and 7pm - 9pm at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Ave., Cranford (www.grayfuneralhomes.com to offer condolences). Mrs. Batich's Funeral services will be held on Saturday April 28, 2012 at 3pm at the Cranford United Methodist Church 201 Lincoln Avenue with Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
Connie was predeceased by her husband, John, her parents, Dr. Orlow and Ruth Snyder, her twin sister, Dorothy Snyder, her sister Marjorie Muse, and her brother, Dr. James M. Snyder.
