A few weeks ago I launched my new short film online. Mission stars Emun Elliott [The Paradise, Filth] as a failed astronaut who must cope after being rejected for the first manned mission to Mars. Shorts are a brilliant way of finding your voice in the competitive world of film. The genre allows you to hone your skills and can function as a stepping stone in your career as a director, writer, cinematographer, or any of the other disciplines. I'm a director.     On stage, Elliott has appeared in the critically acclaimed Black Watch as Private Fraser, a role he played for two and a half years with the National Theatre of Scotland. In 2010 he played Claudio in a production of Measure for Measure at the Almeida Theatre, alongside Anna Maxwell Martin and Rory Kinnear.
    More Details Hide Details In 2009 Elliott was named as 'one to watch' by industry magazine Screen International. Elliot's recent role was as Ritchie in the Comedy Central sitcom Threesome, written by Doctor Who scribe Tom MacRae. Ritchie is a gay man who gets his friend pregnant.
    In July 2010 it was confirmed that Elliott would be playing the role of Marillion in the HBO series Game of Thrones.
