When Destiny's Child reunited during the Super Bowl Halftime Show on Sunday, one of the group's original members was watching from home. Celebuzz caught up with former Destiny's Child member LaTavia Roberson to hear her thoughts on Beyonce's Halftime Show and the reunion with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. “Obviously, seeing Beyonce perform was the highlight for me,” the 31-year-old told Celebuzz. “I got a real surprise when both Kelly [Rowland] and Michelle [Williams] both popped-up on the stage like that.” Continuing, “I thought they all looked great and did a good job with their dance moves. Beyonce was especially amazing. She looked fabulous and her voice was really strong. During the performance somebody texted me to say they could not hear Kelly and Michelle sing. A day later, group member Beyoncé Knowles claimed in an interview that Franklin had missed three major dates and expressed a lack of interest in continuing with the group, leaving them with no other choice but to dismiss her. Within days, the news spread stating that Franklin was released when indeed, she had left the group on the evening of the Seattle show.
