Gia Allemand is an American swimsuit model, actress, consultant, and reality television contestant. She is best known for appearing in Maxim, and being a cast member on two ABC reality shows The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love and Bachelor Pad. Allemand is set to star in a new television series, and has been selected to play a role in an upcoming film about the life of Gianni Russo.

Former "Bachelor" contestant Alexa "Lex" McAllister has died, according to TMZ. She was 31 years old.  Fresh cut and color. Thank you @hope32maren - happy you are back in German Village! McAllister appeared on Season 14 of the reality dating show where she competed for the love and attention of Jake Pavelka, but was sent home after the first week. On August 12, the world lost a beautiful spirit. Bachelor star Gia Allemand hung herself in her New Orleans apartment, hours after arguing with boyfriend Ryan Anderson, according to a police report. Twenty-nine year old Gia was concerned over suspicions that her NBA boyfriend was cheating on her. As he dropped her off at her place, she told him she still loved him but he replied: "I don't love you anymore." Then, two hours later, Anderson went to Gia's apartment after a concerned phone call from her mother. There he found her hanging, with a suicide note leaving all of her property to her mother. Rushed to the hospital, Gia was pronounced dead two days later after she was taken off from life support. Anderson called her the most beautiful person he knew, inside and out.
