Gloria Hemingway
Gloria Hemingway, born Gregory Hancock Hemingway, was the third and youngest child of author Ernest Hemingway. He became a physician and authored a memoir of life with Ernest Hemingway. After struggling with gender identity issues for decades, he underwent gender reassignment surgery and at times presented himself/herself as female and used the name Gloria, most notably when taken into police custody just days before dying in a women's jail.
