Joshua Scott "JC" Chasez is an American singer-songwriter, dancer, entertainer, record producer, and occasional actor, best known as one of the lead vocalists in the former pop group 'N Sync. In 2004, Chasez released a solo album, Schizophrenic, and has gone on to write and produce for music acts such as Girls Aloud, Basement Jaxx, David Archuleta, Matthew Morrison, and the Backstreet Boys. He also served as a judge for America's Best Dance Crew.

Rumors began swirling in the days leading up to the VMAs that the famed boy band would perform, but the hype was never confirmed by anyone in Timberlake's or MTV's camps. Timberlake was celebrated at the VMAs with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award, an honor that brought the members of *NSYNC together. The men performed parts of "Bye, Bye, Bye" and "Girlfriend." From boy band to girl power! JC Chasez's mega girl group, Girl Radical, released its first music video, a cover of No Doubt's 1995 hit "Just a Girl," late last week -- and the results are larger than life. In a recent interview with Billboard magazine, Chasez explained that he and a pal, producer/songwriter Jimmy Harry, had always wanted to collaborate on a project together, and after being introduced to Japanese girl group AKB48 a while back, they knew they had found their concept. PHOTOS: Hottest teen idols ever! "We saw one of their music videos and I was blown away," he told the magazine. "It was like this army on stage performing, and I've always been attracted to the spectacle. The next day we went back into the studio to start writing another song. I was like, 'We should build our own pop group, but in our own way,' and Jimmy agreed."     He wrote the song "Give In To Me" (a.k.a. "Give Me The Love I Need") when he was 18 in 1994 and he sings the lead on it on Euge Groove's debut CD. JC Chasez and Justin Timberlake were the two lead singers of what would become the popular boy band NSYNC. The group was formed in 1995, and became popular in Europe in 1996. In 1998, the band released its debut album *NSYNC which sold 11 million copies, and became very popular in the United States.

They released their second studio album No Strings Attached in 2000, which became the fastest selling album of all time, selling 2.4 million copies in the first week. They held this record until 2015, when Adele surpassed the single-week sales record with her third album 25. Singles from the No Strings Attached album included "Bye Bye Bye", "This I Promise You", "It Makes Me Ill", and the #1 hit "It's Gonna Be Me". The band produced their third studio album, Celebrity in 2001, which sold 1.8 million copies in the first week. After the group's Celebrity Tour in 2002, the band decided to take a hiatus. During this time, Chasez produced his own album, Schizophrenic. The band never formally disbanded, but since 2004, they have not reunited for any musical purposes, and there have been mixed reactions as far as whether the reunion would happen. In August 2013, JC rejoined with Timberlake and the rest of NSYNC for a one-time performance at the MTV Awards.
