1952 18 Years Old At age 18, Judith married the actor William Campbell in 1952 and took his name. He was an alcoholic, and they divorced in 1958. One account says that they divorced in 1959, after having been separated for two years.


Described as "stunningly beautiful", beginning in 1960 she had an 18-month relationship with John F. Kennedy, then senator, which continued after he was elected president of the United States. 1988 54 Years Old In a 1988 interview with Kitty Kelley of People magazine, Exner told a very different story about Giancana and Kennedy.


1997 63 Years Old In 1997 Exner added more details and changed her story, in separate interviews with Liz Smith of Vanity Fair and Hersh, who was writing The Dark Side of Camelot (1997).
1999 66 Years Old Judith Campbell Exner lived in Newport Beach and was a painter. She died on September 25, 1999 in Duarte, California from breast cancer.
