Kate met Jon at a company picnic on October 5, 1997. They were married on June 12, 1999. Kate and Jon filed for divorce on June 22, 2009. They have said that their eight children will remain in their Pennsylvania home, and the two of them will move back and forth to accommodate the custody agreement.
