This Is Who Picked Out Michelle Obama's Flawless Versace Gown
Huffington Post - 27 days
The epic Versace gown-sized hole left by Michelle Obama at the White House still stings like a fresh wound. It makes the following revelation about said gown all the more incredible and devastating. In a new interview with W Magazine, Donatella Versace was asked who picked out the unforgettable, unexpectedly fabulous chain mail gown Obama wore to break both the internet and our hearts at her last state dinner.  “She did,” Versace replied. “She is a woman who knows what she wants. The speeches she made during Hillary’s campaign should be written down—they make up a philosophy of life. If she ever ran for president she would win. We are all in mourning about the American election; it preyed upon people’s phobias. But we should continue to go ahead as far as possible, with all the women in the world.” We’ll raise a rose gold glass to that, Donatella! The designer is one of W’s March cover stars, starring alongside Taraji P. Henson, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Chastain, and Kate ...

Yes, Khloe Kardashian Still Has 'Horrible' Body Confidence Days
Huffington Post - 4 months
Lately, Khloe Kardashian has become known for her intense workout routines as much as she’s known for her candid, no-BS attitude. But lest you believe Khloe’s newfound relationship with health and wellness excuses her from those all-too-familiar feelings of poor self-esteem, think again.  “I have horrible days,” Kardashian told The Huffington Post. “I’m so hard on myself. That’s what we do as women. I’ve gone a week without working out and I feel shitty but it’s all mental. In my head I’m like, ‘God I’ve gained so much weight,’ but obviously you haven’t in one week. I try to praise myself when I am getting it right rather than punish myself when I’m not.” One way she’s currently getting it right? Through her new denim line, Good American, which she co-founded with friend Emma Grede. The size-inclusive collection, which was first cryptically teased out on Instagram back in May, comes in sizes 0-24 and boasts one seriously sexy, diverse campaign.  My denim line ...

Supermodel Kate Moss launches own agency
Yahoo News - 5 months
Kate Moss is launching her own talent agency after leaving the one that recruited her aged 14 earlier this year, the Business of Fashion website reported as London Fashion Week draws to a close on Tuesday. "I want to focus more on managing people's careers than just a modelling agency," said Moss, whose agency has a website, Twitter and Instagram presence despite her own well-known avoidance of social media. London-born Moss, the daughter of a barmaid and a travel agent, was recruited in a chance encounter at New York airport and is one of the few supermodels from the 1990s who still has a lucrative career.

Here's How Much Money The World's Top Models Really Make
Huffington Post - 6 months
We’re living in a world where “likes” and “followers” can be lucrative. Just ask Forbes and its recently released list of highest paid models for 2016.  Unsurprisingly, Gisele Bundchen remained perched atop her throne, earning a reported $30.5 million this year. She has, according to Forbes, “made more money than any model since 2002.” But social media’s it-girls are giving her a run for her literal money. Kendall Jenner and Karlie Kloss came in tied for third, each earning $10 million, and Forbes reports that Jenner “saw her earnings increase 150 percent” in 2016. That jump, of course, is thanks in part to her larger-than-life social media presence. Models like Jenner, who boast a whopping 64.8 million Instagram followers and Gigi Hadid, who at number five on the list earned $9 million and has 22.2 million followers, have harnessed that power to land campaigns, endorsements and designer collaborations. For comparison’s sake, Bundchen has 9.8 million followers.   Sig ...
