Why This Huffington Post Reporter Should Be The Next Mr. Clean
Huffington Post - 6 months
I’ve dressed up as Mr. Clean for several Halloweens. Now I want to be him for real. That’s why I’m entering Procter & Gamble’s casting call for the next Mr. Clean. I’m bald. I wear an earring. I’ve been told that I look good in a tight white T-shirt. And I do bear a strong resemblance to the chrome-dome muscleman of grime-removal. Besides, as a Huffington Post reporter, I’m no stranger to dirt. Sure, I’m just a few mop-up jobs short of age 55, but shouldn’t Mr. Clean be a little washed-up? All you other wannabe Mr. and Ms. Cleans are welcomed to apply online as well. You’ll need to fill out an application and submit a video with the jingle. Or you can show up at an audition in Los Angeles Sept. 14. The winner gets $20,000 and a trip to New York City to appear in the 2017 limited edition Mr. Clean Calendar. But be warned: I’m going to wipe the floor with you. Actor Kellan Lutz already took his shot to promote the contest. You can see that here: ...

Kellan Lutz Somehow Appeared In Almost Every NYFW Men's Photo This Year
Huffington Post - 8 months
What does it mean to “Lutz” at fashion week? Appear in every photograph as is humanly possible. Kellan Lutz, human brother, vampire brother, once and (maybe) future designer, possible He-Man, and New York Fashion Week Men’s ambassador, took his ambassadorship seriously by somehow appearing in nearly every photograph ever taken by anybody who showed up to a NYFW event with a camera.  “When they asked me to become an ambassador, it felt really authentic to who I am. I love fashion,” Lutz told Pret-a-Reporter, who pointed out that Lutz’s Venice Beach-inspired clothing line Abbot + Main appears to be inactive. “I just really want to dive back into it,” the 31-year-old said. You did it, Lutz. You turned NYFW into NYWOL (New York Week Of Lutz). -- This feed and its contents are the property of The Huffington Post, and use is subject to our terms. Hollywood sets up Herculean box office clash
Yahoo News - about 3 years
Hollywood is powering up for a clash of the titans this year, with two films about legendary demigod Hercules -- one starring teen heartthrob Kellan Lutz, and a more mature version later in the year. The superhero standoff -- Tinseltown seems prone to doing movies in pairs, after two adaptations of the Snow White tale last year -- comes 16 years after the last Hercules movie, by Disney in 1997. Directed by action film veteran Renny Harlin ("Die Hard 2," "Cliffhanger" and "Exorcist: The Beginning"), "The Legend of Hercules" retraces the demigod's youth when he was still unaware of his divine ascendancy, sold as a slave and fighting to reconquer his kingdom. "The story of Hercules we tell in the movie is one of the tales.

Movie Preview 2014: 10 Trends To Look For In Theaters This Year
Huffington Post - about 3 years
NEW YORK (AP) — Hollywood may be hoping for a little less drama in 2014. 2013 was a tale of two cinemas. Blockbusters like "The Lone Ranger" and "After Earth" flopped spectacularly while many in the industry (including Steven Spielberg) bemoaned the increasingly commercial trajectory of the studios. And yet by the end of the year, Hollywood had set a record with nearly $11 billion in revenue, while critics hailed the year's crop as one of the best in years. How will 2014 unfold? The plot, at least, will be unchanged, with Hollywood moving to the familiar pattern of sketchy spring releases, summer superhero blockbusters and fall awards-contenders. Here are 10 things to look for at the movies in 2014: STELLAR SCI-FI Anticipation runs especially high for "Interstellar" (Nov. 7), Christopher Nolan's deep space travel adventure starring Matthew McConaughey. Nolan, the director of "Inception" and "The Dark Knight," is one of few directors whose name alone makes fanboys salivate. His i ...
