The Chris Christie scandal has been immortalised in street art. The four foot-high painting, depicting Christie holding a "Road Block Ahead" sign and surrounded by orange traffic cones, appeared overnight in a number of locations in Los Angeles. The humorous piece is believed to be the work of elusive LA-based artist Plastic Jesus. Early in 2013, Plastic Jesus mocked shamed cyclist Lance Armstrong with a piece showing the Tour de France drugs cheat connected to an IV drip on his bike. He also pranked bosses at electronics store Best Buy with a useless plastic box placed in a number of LA stores with an authentic-looking price tag.
