From Jesus to Charles Darwin and even Spanish World Cup winning footballer David Villa, Osbourne's images explore how the language given to us in association with these popular figures can be woven into their physical depiction to produce a truly literal iconography. Osbourne doesn't stop at famous faces; peace signs and doves send an optimistic and pacifistic message, while a fun rendering of Where's Waldo? challenges us to find a near microscopic representation of the childhood icon amongst the thousands of images creating the composite.
