Huffington Post - over 1 year
A big budget Hollywood studio and an array of writers and directors have had five chances to perfect the "Die Hard" formula -- some more successfully than others (cough Jai Courtney cough) -- so maybe it's about time someone a little less well-known took a crack at it.  According to the AV Club, independent screenwriter Eric D. Wilkinson took out a full page ad in The Hollywood Reporter to pitch his own version of the beloved action series that first introduced Bruce Willis' John McClane to audiences in 1988. Now that's what we call entrepreneurial spirit! Wilkinson, who describes himself as a "crazy addict" for all things "Die Hard," decided to take the franchise's future into his own hands. His proposed origin story would flash between past and present versions of McClane, as he wrestles with the murder of a child 34 years ago, while stopping a terrorist attack during a prison riot in present day.  The always reliable Twitterverse immediately jumped on the story and one ...

Shailene Woodley Cut From The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Feels "Bummed"
US Magazine - almost 4 years
Emma Stone will have Andrew Garfield all to herself in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Though Shailene Woodley filmed scenes for the sequel in February (and even dyed her hair red to play the superhero's love interest, Mary Jane Watson), the 21-year-old actress' role has been cut from the film, she tells the June 18 issue of Entertainment Weekly. "Of course I'm bummed," Woodley says. "But I am a firm believer in everything happening for a specific reason." She adds, "Based on the proposed plot, I completely understand the need for holding off on introducing [Mary Jane] until the next film." PHOTOS: Stars in Spider-Man suits In addition to real-life couple Garfield and Stone, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 also stars Jamie Foxx, Paul Giamatti, Sally Field, Martin Sheen, Chris Cooper, Denis Leary and Chris Zylka. SPOILER ALERT: Lyndsy Fonseca On Alex's Shocking Actions
Huffington Post - almost 4 years
Spoiler Alert: Do not read on unless you have seen "Nikita" Season 3, Episode 16, titled "Tipping Point." Did you see that coming, "Nikita" fans? After Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) and Sean (Dillion Casey) spent this week's episode searching for mutineers inside Division, Rachel's (Jessica Camacho) careless mention of reaching a "tipping point" during her interrogation revealed that Alex herself was involved in the plot, leading her to shoot Ryan (Noah Bean) to cover her tracks. Now, Ryan is in a coma, and it appears that despite her protestations, Amanda (Melinda Clarke) did do something to Alex while our troubled heroine was imprisoned in South Ossetia, somehow subconsciously linking her dissatisfaction with Division to her memories of being sold into the sex trade. The Huffington Post caught up with Lyndsy Fonseca via phone to find out what's next for Alex after her betrayal, how her secret will affect her relationships with Sean and Nikita (Maggie Q), what else Amanda has ...

Will The Distance Between Nikita And Alex Destroy Division?
Huffington Post - about 4 years
"Nikita" last saw Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) captured by the cunning Amanda (Melinda Clarke), who proceeded to sow seeds of discontent between the young agent and her mentor, Nikita (Maggie Q). Then, after Nikita refused to alter her mission to help Alex rescue a friend in need, it seemed as though Alex had taken Amanda's manipulative words to heart and was starting to question Nikita's leadership. Is their relationship irreparably damaged? HuffPost TV caught up with executive producer Craig Silverstein to find out what's ahead for our heroines and for the future of Division. Although the show is preempted this week, hopefully the intel will be enough to tide you over until "Nikita" returns on March 29 ... We know that Amanda is a master of psychological warfare, so there was obviously far more to her capture of Alex than the simple desire for a trade for Ari [Peter Outerbridge]. Would Amanda say that her plan was a success? Well, the question is, "Did Amanda get what she w ...
