Maximilian, Margrave of Baden, is the son of Berthold, Margrave of Baden and Princess Theodora of Greece and Denmark. Through his mother, he is the nephew of The Duke of Edinburgh and is first cousin to The Prince of Wales, The Princess Royal, The Duke of York, and The Earl of Wessex.
