Mary Elsie Moore's brothers were Eugene Maxwell Moore (who married Titanic survivor Margaret Graham) and her niece, Bettine Moore, daughter of another brother, Charles Arthur Moore, Jr., married William Taliaferro Close (they are the parents of actress Glenn Close).
