She ain't the one John Mayer saw coming, but Katy Perry sure is the love of his life.
The surprisingly resilient couple duet on "Who You Love," a track Perry co-wrote with Mayer for his Paradise Valley LP -- and the couple smolders together on the cover artwork, which debuted on Monday, Dec. 2. The black-and-white image, which was shot by photographer Mario Sorrenti, features a lingerie-clad Perry, 29, lounging on a velvet couch as she stares seductively into the camera lens; her hand, meanwhile, affectionately rests on Mayer's shoulder as he pensively strums his guitar.

Mayer, 36, who first posted the shot on Instagram, also wrote, "Proud of this song, proud of this artwork, proud of this girl." He also shared the cover shot via tumblr and revealed to fans, "And yes, we look like this at home pretty much all the time."
