Maud Humphrey
Maud Humphrey was a suffragette, and the mother of actor Humphrey Bogart. Born in Rochester, New York to John Perkins Humphrey and Frances V. Dewey Churchill, she was an American commercial artist, illustrator and watercolorist. She studied at the Art Students League and in Paris at the Julian Academy.
