Mayra Dias Gomes wrote her first novel, "Fugalaça", in 2007, when she was seventeen, and it was highly successful in Brazil.
Her second novel, "One Thousand and One Nights of Silence", came out in 2009.
In 2011 she posed topless for Inked magazine.

Her third book, "Dias Gomes" released in 2012, is a compilation of interviews given by her father, Brazilian writer Dias Gomes, from the 60's to his death.
