And one of the night’s biggest honorees will be Miguel Bosé, who has just earned his title of "Person of the Year." Bosé has been entertaining audiences for over 30 years and sold millions of records in the process. He’s also a well-known philanthropist who continues to give back to the Latino community. “We are thrilled to honor one of the industry’s most respected artists,” Academy CEO Gabriel Abaroa told People en Español. “His selflessness has benefited so many around the world.” And becoming a Latin Grammy Person of the Year puts Miguel in a very exclusive club. The 14th Annual Latin Grammy Awards are fast approaching and, to mark the beginning of the countdown, the Latin Recording Academy announced the nominations for Latin music’s biggest night during a press conference on Thursday morning.
