"Gilmore Girls: A Year In the Life" Has That Graham Girl and That Is Enough For Me
Huffington Post - 2 months
TV Review - Jackie K Cooper "Gilmore Girls: A Year In the Life" (Netflix) For years I have avoided watching "Gilmore Girls". All through its original run I dismissed it as something I wouldn't enjoy and something I had no interest in whatsoever. But then along came "Parenthood" and I became fascinated by Lauren Graham. I found her to be an enchanting actress and a bright personality in real life. She was the main reason I watched every episode of that show during its too short run. So when I heard she was doing an "update" of "Gilmore Girls" my interest was piqued. Here was a chance to see Graham again. I hesitated for a few weeks but then I plunged into it and bingewatched all four ninety minute episodes of the revival of "Gilmore Girls: A Year In the Life". It wasn't bad, and Graham was very, very good. For those of you who are in my boat and didn't know anything about these characters before this show, Graham plays Lorelai Gilmore, mother of Rory ...

Milo Ventimiglia Strips Down To Raise Awareness For Breast Cancer On 'Ellen'
Huffington Post - 5 months
Milo Ventimiglia gave fans quite a treat on Monday’s episode of “Ellen.” The “This Is Us” star appeared on the talk show at the beginning of the week with fill-in host Miley Cyrus to talk about his new NBC show and help kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Ventimiglia and Cyrus bonded over the fact that both of their butts have made headlines ― his for appearing bare in the premiere of “This Is Us” and hers for basically every outfit she wore throughout 2015. “All that people were talking about was your butt last week,” Cyrus said. “Usually that’s my job.”  “It’s ready for camera,” Ventimiglia responded as a giant image of the cheeky scene was plastered behind them ― to the studio audience’s delight. Eventually, Cyrus and Ventimiglia made their way to the splash tank. The former “Gilmore Girls” actor stripped off his shirt and got in while the former “Hannah Montana” actress threw pink balls at a target in hopes of dunking him in. The whole stunt was ...

7 New Shows To Watch This Fall And 7 Shows You Can Skip
Huffington Post - 5 months
Taking a chance on a new TV series is akin to a new relationship in many ways. And it’s almost normal to feel the commitment-phobia settling in each fall as the networks churn out their new pilots and hope something sticks. With the vast catalog of content at viewers’ fingertips, the idea of committing to a show that might not make it past its fifth episode hardly seems like the best use of time. Well, fear not, since we recently spent way too much time watching all the pilots for the upcoming fall TV season and are here to separate the wheat from the chaff. 11 Important Questions About That 'Gilmore Girls' Reboot
Huffington Post - over 1 year
BY MONICA REISE The Internet erupted in a shrill whirl of fangirling when rumors began circulating that Netflix was planning to reboot the much-beloved Gilmore Girls series. TVLine first reported that series creators Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino were in talks with the streaming giant to bring back Lorelei and Rory in a miniseries format: four 90-minute episodes, à la the Rockford Files movies of the '90s. And it's not out of the realm of possibility: Sherman-Palladino said at this summer's cast reunion oat the ATX Television Festival that while nothing was in the works at the time, "nobody here hates each other." DUDES. I can't confirm this. But I also can't deny this... https://t.co/KO8gA7j6Us -- Lauren Graham (@thelaurengraham) October 19, 2015 "It would have to be ...
