Neil Jackson is an English actor and writer who has appeared in several television series and films, but is probably best known for his role as Marcus on Blade: The Series and Sasha on Make It or Break It. His screenwriting credits include the film The Passage directed by Mark Heller and released in 2007. He has starred in several other films including Quantum of Solace and Push.

Assistant Greenkeeper at Towneley Golf Club, Neil Jackson, was in impressive form at the weekend, capturing the prestigious Express Cup with an excellent score of +6. Veteran Dave Horan was runner-up (+5). Matt Harrison recorded his first-ever hole in one when he aced the 17th hole. The previous week, the Monthly Medal took place. In Division One, Nick Lancaster took the plaudits with 77-10-67, with Antony Fisher runner-up (74-11-63). Danny Turner claimed top place in Division Two (81-13-68), and second spot went to David Harrison (82-13-69). Division Three winner was Rob Wilson (87-20-67), and Alan Hicks’ score of 88-20-68 took the runners-up spot. Nigel Clark won the Tuesday Stableford with 40 points, with David Harrison the runner-up, a point adrift. Amid rumors, The Hollywood Reporter confirms that the "CSI" alum and Emmy winner will play Jack Crawford, the head of the FBI's behavioral sciences unit. TOWNELEY Golf Club had a very busy weekend. First up, on the Friday night, was the popular Foxes and Rabbits competition, with the winners being Sue Miller and David Bradley with a score of 35.0. Runners-up with 35.5 were Barbara and Ian Ponton. The London pride event was held on the Saturday, with veteran Alan Trickett coming top of the pile with an exceptional score of 76-14-62. Chris Turner was runner-up with 77-13-64, and Mick Southern third (70-6-64). Nearest the pin awards went to Mavis Hurst and Archie Kernachan. New NBC Series ‘Infamous’ To Recast Role

Another role on a newly picked up series, NBC’s drama Infamous, will be recast. Infamous (form. Notorious) is described as an opulent soap in which a female detective (Meagan Good) returns undercover to the wealthy and troubled Lawson family she grew up in — as the maid’s daughter — to solve the murder of the notorious heiress Vivian Lawson who was once her closest friend. The role that is being recast is that of bad boy womanizer Julian Lawson, the handsome brother of the murdered Vivian.  Neil Jackson played the part in the pilot. This is the third recasting on a new NBC series. The female lead in comedy Animal Kingdom, played in the pilot by Amy Huberman, is also being recast. Additionally, the network will have to recast a role in the comedy Guys With Kids played in the pilot as a guest star in second position by Sara Rue after her other pilot, ABC’s Malibu Country, was picked up.

Shannon Clark Donley, a longtime vendor at the Wakefield Farmers Market, Reston Farmers Market and other local markets, died on May 3 following a car accident near Leesburg. Donley, 48, of Shepherdstown, WV, operated Fertile Plains Meats. He had been a vendor at the Wakefild Farmers Market, which operates Wednesdays in Wakefield Park in Annandale. He recently also opened a stand at the Wednesday Smart Market in Reston. Donley was a seventh-generation farmer, according to an obituary in the Martinsburg (WV) Journal-News. He was also a certified lay speaker at Bethesda United Methodist Church at Molers Crossroads, WV, and a parishioner of New Street United Methodist Church in Shepherdstown. At first she was devastated to have to leave those she loved at such a young age. After much prayer she elected to forego treatment that may have extended her life several months and live life to the fullest with her family and friends.
