Gwen Stefani: I "Really" Wanted a Third Child But "It Didn't Really Work Out"

Two children will have to be enough for Gwen Stefani.
The No Doubt frontwoman, 42, appears on the October of Marie Claire, showing off her toned abs in a crop top and leather pants. In the accompanying interview, Stefani opens up about how she and husband Gavin Rossdale, 46, are done having kids. (The two are parents to sons Kingston, 6, and Zuma, 4.)

"I really, really, really wanted one about two years ago. And it didn't really work out," Stefani says, without going into specifics. "So. . . I feel good with what we've got. Everything works out how it should. You can't plan anything, right? You can try."
(Rossdale is also dad to British model Daisy Lowe; the rocker was unaware of their relation until a 2004 paternity test revealed he fathered a child with ex Pearl Lowe in 1989.)
