Ricky Paull Goldin

He was excited about getting into prime time TV and, in particular, producing. Having had a great run in daytime and achieved all he set out to, Ricky felt the timing was right to pursue other ventures. Fans who follow Ricky on Twitter and Facebook know he's been working on location in New England for several months on a new renovation/design show for HGTV. The show's name and air dates are still secret but Ricky should return to national TV during the 2012–13 season. IMDb reveals that Ricky has also been executive producing for the STYLE Network.

Ricky is the nephew of the famous movie producer Jake Gold (Guns of Navarone fame) and was already producing in his 20s, while also establishing himself as a Broadway and TV star. He was a maverick in Reality TV. He teamed up with Gabe Sachs of Sachs/Judah and together they produced the reality dating show Street Match for ABC Prime time. Goldin also partnered with Bruce Nash of Nash Enterprises for a TV pilot called Wired & Fired. Next, Ricky came up with a combo of computer game and prime time TV and produced You Don't Know Jack. In 2001 Ricky co-created and produced a variety show-style pilot for Viacom called FLY TV. Two years later, Ricky spent time on location in Dubai producing ESPN2's The Celebrity Arabian Adventure, and the in-flight programming for Emirates Airlines. A half-hour comedy pilot Knockouts starring Lou Rawls lead to collaboration with Emmy award winning writer Maxine Lapidus on a one-hour dramedy entitled Doin Life. Read Less
