Robert Buckley

The film which suffered distribution problems originally had various push-backs. A proposed theatrical release was cancelled and was released straight-to-DVD on February 3, 2009. The film starred Kaley Cuoco, Leighton Meester and Torrey DeVitto. In 2008, Buckley signed on to play Kyle in the Lifetime film, Flirting with Forty, alongside Heather Locklear, the film premiered on December 6, 2008 to mixed to negative reviews. The series was a ratings success with 3.6 million viewers in its premiere.

Buckley is set to play Bacas Mitchell in the indie film The Legend of Hell's Gate: An American Conspiracy. He will star alongside Jenna Dewan and One Tree Hill co-star James Lafferty. Filming took place in 2009 and has been announced in post-production. No official release has been determined..

Buckley is soon going to be starring in an Independent Coming of age drama, Like It Was Yesterday opposite his OTH co-star and close friend actress Shantel VanSanten as well beauty-queen and real life girlfriend actress Jena Sims. Filming begins in January 2013. The plot follows Caitlin (VanSanten) who struggles with life after a horrible car accident that takes the life of her boyfriend. Caitlin starts college, moves in with her brother Matt (Buckley) and his girlfriend Candice (Sims), she is not on speaking terms with her father, and still hasn't gotten over the death of her boyfriend.
