Cheap Trick's Robin Zander on rock hall: 'I was disappointed in them a long, long time ago'

Cheap Trick frontman <a class="fplink fp-238447" href="/robin+zander">Robin Zander</a> is no fan of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Visiting the Stuck in the '80s studios earlier this week, Zander playfully scoffed when we asked if he felt any hard feelings for not being inducted yet.
"I don't even know if I would go if we were nominated, to be honest," Zander said. "To me, I was disappointed in them a long, long time ago. Look at a band like Kiss [who isn’t in the hall, either]. Come on! There’s a number of things they look at, but who the hell cares? I don’t need someone like them to tell me how great I am."
Hell no, you don't! Anyone who has seen Cheap Trick live can vouch for their greatness.
"Hey, I think our band is pretty damn good," he told us. "We wouldn't be around for 36, 37 years now if we weren’t pretty decent."
