Sylvester Stallone Says He Was Blackmailed By Half-Sister Into Secret Settlement Over Allegations Of Abuse
Radar Online - about 4 years
Sylvester Stallone‘s half-sister Toni-Ann Filiti alleged he abused her for years, resulting in a multimillion-dollar settlement that the Rocky star claims he was blackmailed into, RadarOnline.com is reporting. In paperwork obtained by Page Six, the agreement was signed 26 years ago and shows Sly agreeing to pay Toni-Ann $2 million plus $16,666.66 every month in her lifetime, on top of a trust with $50,000 per year for medical and psychiatric expenses. PHOTOS: Sylvester Stallone At The Expendables 2 Premiere Despite Toni-Ann’s abuse claims, sources tell the New York paper that the settlement was part of a “shakedown” and that the 66-year-old actor was blackmailed. Page Six reports that the settlement paperwork said Toni-Ann “asserted claims for personal injury, including physical injury” against her half-brother, while he “vigorously denied and continues to deny and dispute all claims of wrongdoing.” PHOTOS: Sylvester Stallone’s Son Sage Through The Years As RadarOnline.com ...

Sage Stallone death tied to heart problems; smoking cited
LATimes - over 4 years
The L.A. County coroner's office concluded that Sage Stallone, the son of Sylvester Stallone, died of natural causes, citing coronary artery disease. Coroner's Chief Craig Harvey said Sage Stallone had a history of heavy smoking, but his family said he had cut back lately. He was most recently smoking an electric cigarette. Among the chief causes of coronary artery disease is smoking because it can cause elevate blood pressure, raising the risk of clots. The coroner declared death by natural causes and the toxicology test came back "negative except for a sub-therapeutic level of hydrocodone." Harvey said the drug played no role in the death. The Los Angeles Police Department's North Hollywood Division went to Sage Stallone's home, where he was found dead in July, but the case was reassigned to the elite Robbery-Homicide Division. That division often handles high-profile cases or that demand resources unavailable to divisional detectives. A housekeeper found Stallone's body. A ...

Sylvester Stallone says son Sage's death a 'horrible situation'
LATimes - over 4 years
As investigators seek to determine the cause of Sage Stallone's death, his father Sylvester Stallone is speaking out for the first time about his loss. "It's tough. It's very, very tough," Stallone told ABC's "Good Morning America." "It's a horrible situation, but time will hopefully heal and you try to get through it, but it's just something. It's a reality of life."  After his son's death, Stallone canceled all his public appearances for "The Expendables 2." Now, though, "I think it's important to get back and start reliving your life. Otherwise, you can go into a spiral," he said. The action movie, which opens Friday, features some old friends and industry rivals, including Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham and Dolph Lundgren. The investigation into Sage Stallone's death remains open until a cause of death is determined, pending tests, said Ed Winter, a spokesman for the L.A. County Coroner's office. Authorities No Longer Suspect Sage Stallone Was A Drug Dealer
Perez Hilton - over 4 years
This is great news for Sylvester Stallone and his family. Although it looked like Sage Stallone may have been dealing drugs before being found dead in his El Lay home last month, authorities believe that wasn't the case. Despite the white powder and "more than 60 gigantic bottles" that were once filled up with Hydrocodone being found at the scene, a source has revealed: "Neither the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office, which is handling the bulk of Sage's death investigation, or the LAPD has uncovered any information that would even remotely suggest that Sage was a drug dealer. First of all, if Sage was dealing, why would he leave so much evidence around? Drug dealers just don't operate like that. Secondly, Sage didn't need the money and his inner circle of friends is adamant that he didn't drink, or use drugs." Still, it sounds like he may have developed some kind of addiction to the painkillers. The toxicology test is pending, but it seems like his death was due to "an a ...
