ARTIST RECREATES FAMOUS MOVIE SCENES IN 'THEN AND NOW' PHOTOS Sylvester Stallone stars in "The Prisoner of Second Avenue" (1975) filmed by the Bethesda Fountain in Central Park, New York City Artist Christopher Moloney is always seeing double - he recreates famed movie scenes in their modern-day setting. The New Yorker pounds the streets of the Big Apple sniffing out the locations of infamous movie scenes before taking a photo with an image from the film in the foreground. It started as a hobby when he 'recreated' a scene from Ghostbusters near Central Park - but has now mushroomed into the hit FILMography blog with almost 200 'then and now' photos. Christopher says, "I work near Columbus Circle in New York City. One day I realised the spot outside my office window was the place the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man appeared in the movie Ghostbusters. So I printed off a photo, held it up and snapped a picture. "I posted the shot on Facebook and my friends really liked it, so I took more. Eventually I started my blog on Tumblr. Now I’ve snapped almost 200 photos." September 2012
