Castle’s Season 6 Cast Photos Get Fancy
Boom Tron - over 3 years
They may not tell us much in terms of what’s coming down the road, but I think we can all agree that cast photos are fantastic things and we could always use a few more. Castle, for its sixth season, rounded up its major players, dressed them up, and had them pose in a dull grey room and, somehow, they still managed to come out looking fabulous. At first I wondered why they chose such a plain background for the cast to stand in front of, but then I took notice of the pictures featuring stars Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic. As you have no doubt noticed, Fillion and Katic are the only two of the main cast who are featured on an actual set for their photos. There are a couple of chairs (Fillion takes quite the suitable leather chair) and a staircase. It has a great feel to it and I can see that the money went to creating their photos and everyone else probably got whatever was available. But maybe I’m wrong since it couldn’t possibly cost much money to bring the other cast members ove ...

'Castle' Cast Grows For Season 6
Huffington Post - over 3 years
The cast of Season 6 of "Castle" is growing! The ABC hit has added former "24" star Glenn Morshower for the second episode of the new season, TV Guide reports. The actor -- who recurred on the Keifer Sutherland drama as secret service agent Aaron Pierce -- will play Michael Reed, a former general who's determined to protect the secrets of his past. And he's not alone: "Alphas" alum Warren Christie is also set to appear in the second episode of "Castle" Season 6 as Brad Parker, a reporter with "a penchant for uncovering stories that are detrimental to national security," Entertainment Weekly reports. It was previously reported that "House" alumna Lisa Edelstein will have a multi-episode arc on "Castle" Season 6 as Rachel McCord, "a tough and highly-skilled Federal Investigator whose appearance plays a vital role in Beckett’s decisions about her future," according to TVLine. Beckett (Stana Katic) certainly needs all the help she can get -- she was poised to join a s ...

From 'House' To 'Castle'
Huffington Post - over 3 years
Lisa Edelstein will join "Castle" Season 6 for a guest arc, according to TVLine. Edelstein will appear in multiple episodes as Rachel McCord, "a tough and highly-skilled Federal Investigator whose appearance plays a vital role in Beckett’s decisions about her future." Beckett (Stana Katic) certainly needs all the help she can get, since she was poised to move to Washington, D.C., to join a special task force in the Season 5 finale ... right up until Castle (Nathan Fillion) proposed to her in the episode's final moments. Fans were thrilled at the prospect of a married Kate and Rick for "Castle" Season 6, but Fillion recently admitted that he doesn't know whether Beckett will even accept the proposal. "We did not shoot the answer," the actor told TVLine. “We did that last day of shooting on a Thursday. Friday, I came in and did some looping … and then left town immediately [to] work in Canada ... I’ve not had one email, not one discussion, not a phone call about wh ...

Castle's Big Finale Question
Huffington Post - over 3 years
When Richard Castle (Nathan Fillion) got down on one knee and proposed to a surprised Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) in the "Castle" finale, viewers were ecstatic ... and a little disappointed that they would have to wait until the fall to find out whether or not she would accept. But according to Fillion, he doesn't have any idea what her answer will be either. "We did not shoot the answer," the actor told TVLine. “We did that last day of shooting on a Thursday. Friday, I came in and did some looping … and then left town immediately [to] work in Canada ... I’ve not had one email, not one discussion, not a phone call about where things are going, what’s going to happen ... So I can’t even spoil anything by accident!” According to actress Susan Sullivan, who plays Castle's mother on the series, Beckett might not even answer right away and if she does accept, there could be quite a bit of buildup before the two finally tie the knot. "I think they have to play this propo ...

'L Word' And 'Booty Call' Stars Join Gay Advocacy Fight
Huffington Post - almost 4 years
GLAAD recently propelled its "Coming Out For Equality" public service announcement series in support of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. Now "Booty Call" and "Two Can Play That Game" actress Tamala Jones is lending her voice to the conversation. "I tend to have strong opinions," the sassy actress says in the PSA. "Who am I to decide how others should live their lives? For me, it's not a partisan issue. It's a human rights one and I believe everyone should be equal." Jones currently stars on the ABC television show "Castle." Check out her message above. No stranger to the LGBT community herself, "The L Word" star Sarah Shahi also joined the initiative. "So my views on equality are pretty obvious. I mean I did play a highly complex lesbian techno DJ on TV, but I know it's not always easy to come out and tell the world where you stand," the starlet, who played Carmen de la Pica Morales on "The L Word," says. 'Castle' Cast Preview The 100th Episode
Huffington Post - almost 4 years
The 100th episode of "Castle" may be airing on Monday, April 1 (10 p.m. ET on ABC), but it's no April Fools joke -- in fact, the consequences of the "Rear Window"-esque case could hit surprisingly close to home for our heroes. At the cake-cutting ceremony for the milestone episode, The Huffington Post caught up with Nathan Fillion, creator Andrew Marlowe and other members of the show's cast to preview what to expect from the Hitchcock-inspired hour, which Marlowe described as "a champagne glass of an episode," designed with the series' most loyal fans in mind -- especially those who love Castle (Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic). Read on for what we learned. Andrew Marlowe (Creator): On coming up with the 100th episode: "One of things with the 100th episode is, we wanted to put the lens squarely on the Castle/Beckett dynamic, we wanted to do something that was fun, something that was basically a champagne glass of an episode -- it has a lot of sparkle, a lot of wit ...
