Headed To Hollyweird: Robin Thicke Lands His First Movie Role
Bossip - over 4 years
Singer Robin Thicke Lands First Movie Role R&B soul-singer Robin Thicke is ready to go from serenadin’ to script-reading as he takes on his first movie role. Robin Thicke is the latest person to make the jump from music to movies. The 35-year-old “Love After War” singer has scored a role in the indie flick Abby in the Summer, which also boasts Jaime Pressley, Joey Lauren Adams, Steve Agee, and Frances Conroy. The movie revolves around an adrenaline junkie who, after being forced to leave her job as a chef, deals with life with her distracted husband (Tygh Runyan) and a former love (enter Thicke, naturally). It is slated to start shooting in Los Angeles this week. Good for him. Now maybe he can help his bad-azz wifey go over the lines for her next movie role……..in 2097. Hopefully there won’t be any panties thrown at the screen. Let’s keep it together ladies. Smh. Source
