Frances Bean Cobain's New Modeling Gig Is So Not Surprising
Huffington Post - 29 days
What do Cher, Willow Smith, Susan Sarandon and Frances Bean Cobain have in common? Why, they’re all Marc Jacobs muses, of course.  Cobain is starring in Jacobs’ spring/summer 2017 campaign. In an interview with Vogue, the 24-year-old rock offspring called Jacobs an “underdog for the masses,” for whom she made an exception when she agreed to model.  “I wouldn’t have done it with anyone other than Marc,” she said. "I first met Frances Bean when she was 2 years old at a dinner with her mom (Courtney) and Anna Sui in 1994 at Bar Six in NYC. I have always wanted to work with Frances. Her beauty, uniqueness, and strength is something I have long admired and respected. Few things remain as constant as my continued inspiration from those whose honesty, integrity, courage, and curiosity lead them to explore and venture beyond preconceived boundaries. Photographed by David Sims, I am pleased to share the first image of Frances Bean Cobain for our Spring/Summer 2017 campaign ...

Huffington Post - 3 months
While many continue to mourn in the wake of last week’s election results, Willow Smith has been busy creating beautiful music to uplift us all.  Over the weekend, the 16-year-old daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith released her newest song, “November 9th.” The track, which features a dreamy, lullabylike melody paired with Smith’s soothing vocals, seems like a clear response to Donald Trump’s win.  “Baby girl, I know you’re tired, don’t let the world put out your fire,” the actress sings, somehow capturing the mixed emotions felt by the country while encouraging hope. “Take my hand and you will see, sadness and anger aren’t everything.” You can listen to the full song below:  -- This feed and its contents are the property of The Huffington Post, and use is subject to our terms. When it comes to stylish teenagers, and teenagers in general, Willow Smith is in a category all her own. At 15, she's as known for her fashion choices as she was while whipping her hair back in forth back in 2011. Clad in a tweed blazer, silk bow-tied blouse, studded choker, septum ring, dreads, and some seriously stunning eye makeup, Smith looks beautiful and badass on her first cover for the mag. Inside, she revels in the fact that someone like her is a face of arguably the most coveted fashion brand in the world. "Being a young African-American woman with dreads, it blows my mind that I’m a Chanel ambassador. Like, how am I a Chanel ambassador? It is so beautiful," she said. But the singer/actress/dancer/cool kid also explains that her style -- and great style in ...

The 15-year-old daughter of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith released a 15-track album on Friday, called "Ardipithecus."  She told USA Today that she chose the title "Ardipithecus" because she was "digging deep in the soil" of her heart while making the album.
