Inside Spokeo, People Search

The numbers are in! Check out the top Spokeo people searches for January thus far. Things have shifted since last month, and we once again have an eclectic mix. I decided to switch it up and start with number ten, to help build the suspense. Check it out to see who reigns supreme!

10. Paris Hilton – This celebutante, socialite, heiress, and wait… why is she famous? starts off our list this month. We will be able to watch Paris soon in her upcoming Oxygen show titled "The World According to Paris." Will you be tuning in?

9. Kim Kardashian – This celebutante, socialite, TV personality, and wait… why is she famous? is next to make the list. We will be able to watch Kim soon in her upcoming reality series, "Kourtney and Kim Take New York." (I’m starting to sense a pattern here…) Other news about Kim involve a new boyfriend and skimpy bikini Twitter photo.

8. LeBron James – This Miami Heat player has been in the news due to an ankle injury and for his Kanye-like behavior. LeBron also has an animated series called The LeBrons which will debut in the spring.

7. Britney Spears – Britney’s new single, "Hold it Against Me," soared to a record-setting debut on Billboard’s Pop Songs chart. Are you digging her new dubstep beats?

6. Justin Bieber – Bieber dropped a few spots this month (shocking!), but made the list none-the-less. The most recent Bieber news includes his Selena Gomez romance, and let’s not forget about his film, Never Say Never, which will hit theatres February 11. Are you going to see his film?

5. Oprah Winfrey – This "goddess of daytime television" has a new cable channel, appropriately titled the OWN network. She also recently appeared as a guest on the debut show of "Piers Morgan Tonight."

4. Kobe Bryant – Kobe, like LeBron, is always a hot subject in the basketball world. Check out this amazing dunk from the Kansas City Thunder game (the Lakers won).

3. Bill Gates – Bill Gates makes our list again. He has been in the news for discussing how cell phones could track newborns to help monitor vaccine shots, and for becoming an investor for NEOS GeoSolutions, Inc.

2. Brad Pitt – Brad recently graced the red carpet at the Golden Globe awards with his equally famous wife, Angelina Jolie. See the couple in all their glory here.

Drum roll please… and number 1 is:

1. Barack Obama – President Obama’s job approval rating is on the rise, and is the highest it’s been in over a year. This is partially due to Obama’s Tuscon speech, which you can watch here.

Some honorable mentions who didn’t make the cut include: Beyonce Knowles, Angelina Jolie, Sarah Palin, Michael Jackson and Michael Jordan. You’ll have to wait and see if they make the list next time!
